From The Principal

Collins’ Families,

We are extremely excited to begin the process of welcoming students into our schools. We miss seeing our kids in their classrooms! We appreciate your support as we move forward in a very careful and deliberate way for the health and safety of our kids and the entire community.

We will begin this return using a hybrid model where our kindergartner and first grader will attend school for a half day of instruction Monday through Friday. The other half of the day, he/she will participate in remote learning. We recognize that developmentally our students need consistency with learning routines, socialization, and connecting with their teacher and classmates on a daily basis.

For the in-person instruction at school, students will be assigned either the AM session (8:20 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) or the PM session (12:30 p.m. – 3:10 p.m). Our goal is to have all classes balanced in a way that allows for every student’s needs to be met.

Best Regards,

Jena Lenz

Collins’ Principal
